Resetting Your Anonymizer Universal Connection

To reset your Anonymizer Universal connection, please follow these steps:

Step 1

To begin, exit Anonymizer Universal by left clicking on the Anonymizer Universal icon in your system tray until the menu appears. Select “Quit.&rdquo

Step 2

Next, click on the Apple icon in the top left side corner and select “System Preferences.&rdquo

Step 3

Choose “Network&rdquo under “Internet and Network&rdquo settings. You will see a window like the one below.

Select the entry for “Anonymizer Universal&rdquo in the column on the left, and then the Minus (-) symbol at the bottom of the column (see diagram below).

The Anonymizer Universal entry will disappear. Click “Apply,&rdquo and then close the Network Window.

Step 6

Restart Anonymizer Universal and try to connect.

After connecting, you should see an anonymous IP Address displayed in the software.
